Pre-Placement Medical Check
yesterday was a busy day.. woke up at 10am to get myself prepare as I need to submitted my acceptance of the Letter of Offer back to EDB (Economic Development Board) as the last day of submission is 7th April (tml) if not they will take it that we reject the offer.. Just before i wanna leave house, my father called me as he needs me to accompany him back to the company at Sungei Kadut as he needs to drive another car back.. so i drove his car aft that.. so from his workplace i drove to Raffles City as EDB is at Raffles City Tower. So I just park at Raffles City Shopping City which is for Hourly parking but i only park for about 10-15mins, the parking fee was $2.14..!! oh.. since is central area, i got to accept it that parking is just so expensive.. after submitting the Letter of OFfer, i went to Raffles Hospital for Pre-Placement Medical Check as requested by EDB as we need to clear medical check before they offer us a contract..
something was weird at Raffles Hospital Carpark but i just couldn't sort out wat was it then I realise that the direction was opposite.. normally the opposite direction will travel at our right which is the driver's side but at Raffles Hospital, the opposite direction is at the left side.. so i just feel kind of awkward when driving in as i drove at the 'normal' lane but was incorrect as the arrow indicate the opposite flow.. anyway, i was at the hospital for check up from 12+ pm till 3.45pm and the parking cost $6.11.. EXPENSIVE..!! the check-up was a long one partially there was ALOT of people which I don't understand why also as it is a WEEKDAY AFTERNOON..!! hmm.. first is to give urine sample then got to wait for height and weight measurement then eye-sight and colour blind check.. then wait for blood draw and wait for X-ray.. then i think GSK was a special company coz they check for lung capacity and hearing.. as that section also confused the doctor as he was curious why the company want to check the lung and hearing.. i didn't know the whole check up took so long.. 3 hours +++ .. and i finally reach hom at 4.15pm.. is a good thing i drove coz i can get home fast.. but the parking and the ERP at bugis cost almost $10.. driving in singapore is really high maintenance..
now is waiting for contract and hopefully they decide to hire me.. just hope things go well =pPp
