Accident in the lab

need to blog about something that happened yesterday..
there is an accident in my lab...
a BLOODY accident..

Here's how thing goes...
Michael is one of the PhD student in Gentle Group (the group that i'm in)
he went to take one a bottle of wastewater from the fridge..
but the water inside was frozen..
and the bottle was cracking..
so he took out the bottle wanting to leave it on the lab table..
but before he could do it..
the bottle crack and cut his hand..
and is a deep deep cut..
blood is everywhere in the lab..
nobody was inside the lab but we were just in the office (which is near the lab).
he called out to Robert, another PhD student but from other Group.
Robert saw the cut and he said he saw the cut was so deep that he could see the muscle..
we went down to get First-aid help..
but then we still need to wait for the Security (Emergency) to come..
before anyone could get the Ambulance..
the LAME thing is that the Security got to see the injury before he decide to ask for ambulance..
and it took them so long to decide to get an ambulance.
and it took so DAMN LONG for the ambulance to arrive..
and it took them quite some time to decide whether to send Michael to the Hospital..
this is so SHIT..!!!

heard from Jeremy (Post-doc staff from our Grp) that Michael need to go for surgery..
coz the cut get to the muscle..
not very sure how serious it could be..
but i believe it is quite serious..
this accident made mi think of my incident that happened 2 years ago =x
haha..
my right big toe..
got an operation on it..
think i did post an entry on it...
the incident date was 23 Dec 2006..
and i "celebrated" my Christmas in Changi General Hospital (CGH)..

ok.. enough of BLOOD issue...
got to continue my lab work le..
project still not going well..
haiz.. dun even noe can grad with a Honours anot..
