GSK Training Agreement

Went to GSK Biologicals this afternoon to sign the Training Agreement with my parents as they are my sureties/guarantor so they need to sign the Deed of Indemnity. It was very fast. Reach there at 1pm and it took only about 15 mins and we can go off.

Now is really a BIG STEP into my career and into the next stage of my life. cannot back-out now if not got to compensate to EDB and GSK.. but i tell myself, i wish to stay in there after the 3.5 yrs of training and bond.. but also depend on whether they wanna employ us after that.. it based on performance and also depend on the company head count.. and come to think of it.. the thought of the 1.5 bond period also kinda trouble me.. kinda afraid that after the 2 year training, they decide not to employ us during the bond year then i got to go look for a similar job to complete the bond.. whatever it is, i'm just looking forward to this Monday (3rd May), official start training day. hope everything goes well and smooth for the next 2 years of Training and hopefully also for the 1.5 years of bond period..

New Life. New Start. New Beginning. GAMBETTE..!!!

iPhone =)

bought my iphone =) 16GB iPhone 3GS Black =pPp
retail price is $538 at Starhub.. got $100 voucher so got to pay the balance of $438.. got a screen protector ($10) and phone cover ($12).. so total $460 spent on the iPhone.. so i'm broke.. totally broke..

Roche's offer LOT program

damn.. received the call from Roche that i'm selected for the LOT program.. but is kinda too late coz i accept the offer from GSK le.. pros and cons for that.. but i'm contented with GSK if i got in =)

Roche is a well known company and it focus alot on employee development as they will send employee overseas for training. is a big company also.. i dunno wat Roche goin to offer but is a week too late that they call me.. if called me last week.. i guess i will take Roche maybe.. but one thing not that advantage abt Roche is that QC Specialist need to work shift.. not those over night shift is sometime shift from2-7pm then sometime saturday got to work.. so guess GSK's weekday working day is more plus point although GSK only got company pick-up at Jurong East while Roche has pick-up at Outram which is more advantage to me who live East side.. Roche also never mention about side contract that they will keep me for my 3rd yr in the program which is the bond period.. but GSK got side contract but also extend 0.5 yr more.. so total Roche is 3 yr while GSK is 3.5 yr.. but ROche no confirmation will take back during 3 yr while GSK is base on performance to keep you for the next 1.5yrs after 2 yr training..

anyway, i will still stick to GSK guess always changing my mind isn't a good thing. just choose 1 thing and stick with it and work hard for that.. yes.. so please let me get the contract..!!

Pre-Placement Medical Check

yesterday was a busy day.. woke up at 10am to get myself prepare as I need to submitted my acceptance of the Letter of Offer back to EDB (Economic Development Board) as the last day of submission is 7th April (tml) if not they will take it that we reject the offer.. Just before i wanna leave house, my father called me as he needs me to accompany him back to the company at Sungei Kadut as he needs to drive another car back.. so i drove his car aft that.. so from his workplace i drove to Raffles City as EDB is at Raffles City Tower. So I just park at Raffles City Shopping City which is for Hourly parking but i only park for about 10-15mins, the parking fee was $2.14..!! oh.. since is central area, i got to accept it that parking is just so expensive.. after submitting the Letter of OFfer, i went to Raffles Hospital for Pre-Placement Medical Check as requested by EDB as we need to clear medical check before they offer us a contract..

something was weird at Raffles Hospital Carpark but i just couldn't sort out wat was it then I realise that the direction was opposite.. normally the opposite direction will travel at our right which is the driver's side but at Raffles Hospital, the opposite direction is at the left side.. so i just feel kind of awkward when driving in as i drove at the 'normal' lane but was incorrect as the arrow indicate the opposite flow.. anyway, i was at the hospital for check up from 12+ pm till 3.45pm and the parking cost $6.11.. EXPENSIVE..!! the check-up was a long one partially there was ALOT of people which I don't understand why also as it is a WEEKDAY AFTERNOON..!! hmm.. first is to give urine sample then got to wait for height and weight measurement then eye-sight and colour blind check.. then wait for blood draw and wait for X-ray.. then i think GSK was a special company coz they check for lung capacity and hearing.. as that section also confused the doctor as he was curious why the company want to check the lung and hearing.. i didn't know the whole check up took so long.. 3 hours +++ .. and i finally reach hom at 4.15pm.. is a good thing i drove coz i can get home fast.. but the parking and the ERP at bugis cost almost $10.. driving in singapore is really high maintenance..

now is waiting for contract and hopefully they decide to hire me.. just hope things go well =pPp
